From the Pastor

Our aim at Morris Memorial is not to be religious.  Rather, we seek to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ and obedient to the Holy Spirit.  We would like to share with you the love and joy that we have found by trusting in Jesus for new life.  It is our hope that you will choose to worship with us, to study the Word of God with us, and to join us in serving the needy in our community.

Our church has two worship services each Sunday.  The first service, at 8:30 A.M., offers comforting traditional music.  The second service, at 11:00 A.M., offers exciting contemporary music.  At either service, you will receive a warm welcome and you will hear the Good News of Jesus Christ proclaimed with joy.  We also offer special worship experiences for Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, and other special occasions.
Our Sunday School, each Sunday at 9:45 A.M., offers classes for all ages.  We have three adult classes, each with a distinctly different approach to the study of God’s Word.  There are also study opportunities during the week, both during the day and in the evening.

Besides Sunday School, we have a fantastic program for children during our 11:00 A.M. service.  On Wednesday evenings we have a wonderful program for children, featuring a meal, a Bible lesson, and singing.

We are deeply involved in a ministry which provides food and other assistance for the needy in our community.  There is also a group in our church which helps with minor home repairs and improvements for our neighbors.  Please let us know if you would like to be part of this outreach.

You may have questions which our web site does not answer.  If so, please contact me at [email protected].  I would be delighted to hear from you.
